Is This You?

Usually my new clients feel that they want/need to make life changes, but don’t know where to start or what to do.

Some people come in feeling discontented, frustrated and wanting to change things for the better.
Often they feel that they’ve come a long way and have a sense of achievement and pride in some areas of their lives, but in other areas things just don’t feel right - yet. They "want to be all that they can be" and want some help in doing it. They feel that there’s “old stuff” holding them back and want help to learn what to do.

Others find themselves in a crisis, feeling helpless, sad and frightened

  • Maybe they weren’t not assessing things clearly
  • Hoping that the problems would just go away
  • Taken by surprise with something that came up suddenly

Once they’ve begun the process of counseling I find that most clients move very quickly into feeling better. It’s just a relief to get the issues on the table and to get started.
